Ngombe Land Projects (Pty) Ltd. is a Johannesburg-based Skills Development Provider and Consulting Company that is accredited by TETA and the QCTO for export and import training and consultancy services, with a special focus on cutting edge export development and promotion services. Our professional team of training and development experts is backed by over 20 expertize and is driven by our keenness to contribute in growing the South African economy through exports.
South African companies have been slow in taking advantage of the now open South African economy, preferring an inward focus on the domestic market. Local companies are inclined to continue focusing on the local market for their survival. Many of these companies are now finding that local market conditions are getting tougher as sales decline and market shares shrink because imports are increasing. Many foreign companies have opened distribution outlets in South Africa or/and are forming joint ventures to sell or manufacture products locally.
Large Companies simply set up their in-house export department in order to develop export markets, a luxury that Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) generally do not because of their limited resources!
Many SMEs are aware of export opportunities, in the AfCFTA as well as in other parts of the world, and so are keen on venturing into exporting. However, those that realize that they need help to become export-ready tend to give up early in that process. For example, they may attend a short course on exporting and end there, whereas they may still need help in relation to improving product/service for exports.
